Tel Aviv Double Height

The living room is the heart of the home, designed around a striking contrast between graphic elements and tactile textures. The double-height ceiling and expansive windows fitted with horizontal blinds fill the space with soft, sculptural light. The seating area is anchored by a striped rug: a central light-colored sofa in textured fabric is balanced by two deep leather armchairs.

A unique atmosphere is created by the black wood ceiling and the dark paneled wall. The iconic lamp draws an architectural line through the space, visually linking the living area with the upper level. The crisp white staircase with a glass balustrade and the open layout further enhance the sense of airiness and volume.

The architectural focal point on the lower level is the composition formed by the monolithic staircase and the display cabinet. The staircase is designed in a minimalist style: transparent glass without vertical supports visually lightens the structure. The tall cabinet, clad in Zebrano veneer with tinted glass fronts, turns storage into a design statement, serving as an elegant partition between zones.

The area adjacent to the kitchen and dining space is designed as an open storage zone. A black metal shelving system, fixed from floor to ceiling, creates a rhythmic vertical pattern and reads as an architectural installation. A low horizontal island clad in Zebrano veneer with a glass display case serves as the central compositional element, establishing scale and visually connecting this zone to the kitchen area.

The open storage system does not overwhelm the interior; rather, it forms an airy, graphic, and functional accent that works as a fully-fledged design element.

The kitchen and dining area celebrate geometry and premium materials. At its core is a monumental island with a matte countertop. The breakfast bar is furnished with transparent acrylic stools that seem to dissolve into the space. A wall of faceted mirror panels dramatically expands the room and fills it with a play of reflections.

Rather than a conventional layout, we opted for a fluid spatial arrangement. All storage systems and appliances are concealed behind steel and glass fronts, maintaining clean lines. This approach allows the kitchen and living room to form a unified ensemble where elegance coexists with everyday comfort.

The central color accent is the expressive Zebrano veneer with its distinctive vertical grain. Its contrasting, dynamic pattern dominates the kitchen island and display cabinet, tying together the various functional zones into a cohesive design code. The contrast between the matte light floor and the dark wood texture creates a sense of zoning without the need for physical partitions. The result is a space that perfectly matches the demands of modern life. It accommodates both private family evenings and formal gatherings. The interior combines expressive graphics, natural materials, and thoughtful functionality while remaining warm and inviting.
