Suburban stables Vienna Restaurant
The main area greets guests with lofty ceilings and a striking double-height space, bathing the interior in soft natural light. Underfoot, large-format neutral-toned tiles visually expand the room. Square wooden-topped tables and chairs with intricate openwork backs are thoughtfully arranged, striking a balance between lightness and solidity.
The lighting scheme is meticulously crafted: pendant fixtures with slender black cords float above the tables—some with matte glass globes, others with cone-shaped shades reminiscent of traditional Austrian lanterns. Come evening, their glow casts a warm, inviting ambiance.
To the left, a staircase to the upper floor doubles as a sculptural centerpiece. Its solid wood treads contrast with industrial-style metal railings, while the open design preserves a sense of airiness. Above, a balcony framed with wooden slats overlooks the main area.
The homely, lower-ceilinged ground floor area features subdued lighting and a cosy area with relaxed armchairs and a fireplace. Olive and beige shades support the natural theme, filling the space with freshness.
Natural textures dominate: wood in ceiling beams, staircases, furniture, and wall panels; stone for countertops and flooring; and metal for railings, fixtures, and hardware. Textiles enhance warmth and softness.
The color scheme revolves on muted tones: warm beiges and wood hues (walls, floors, furniture), olive-green accents (kitchen backsplash, bar), and dark metallic details (lighting, chairs, frames).
The second level is designed as a series of cozy zones, each with its own character. A balcony overlooking the kitchen features a bar counter with an emerald-green tiled top and metal stools—a perfect spot for casual gatherings.
On the second floor, the premisses are no longer an open, bright space. Everything is done here to ensure that guests feel privacy and tranquility. Several zones, different in character, are united by one style.
Quite conversations, calm music and atmosphere - guests come to this area for pleasant sensations from simple things.
More than a restaurant, this is a versatile destination where guests can linger from morning coffee by the window to evening gatherings by the fireplace. Austrian tradition (wood, hearths, horse motifs) meets modern comfort (open kitchen, adaptive lighting, flexible zones). Though minimalist in detail, every element—from built-in shelves to swing seats—cultivates a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere that invites return visits.
For younger guests
A dedicated play area features a multi-level structure: a lower tier with a green-topped craft table and chairs, and an upper level with hanging swings and a climbing net. Wooden cone-shaped ceiling lamps emit a gentle glow.
