The stylistic concept fuses raw, textured elements with mid-20th-century vintage charm. Exposed brickwork and white ceiling-mounted HVAC systems set an industrial cadence, which is softened by light-colored tiles featuring distinctive blue graphics that echo the historic arches of St. Petersburg. This graphic element acts not merely as decoration, but as a visual anchor, bridging the contemporary interior with the city’s cultural heritage.

Special attention was devoted to ergonomics and spatial zoning. The 160-square-meter layout is meticulously divided into several functional scenarios: from an open, lively area featuring round tables and vintage swivel chairs, to more intimate seating along the windows and soft banquettes. An intriguing design solution lies in the intersection of floor textures—dark, refined wood in the dining zone transitions into practical concrete in the service and wet areas, establishing a natural tactile and visual flow.

The carefully curated selection of furniture and materials weaves a complex yet cohesive visual narrative. Large-format white tiles on the kitchen islands and bar counters harmonize with massive marble tabletops and the warm grain of light wood. The vintage furnishings deserve special mention: bent-plywood chairs with metal legs, vibrant yellow 70s-inspired armchairs, and striped green banquettes with decorative trim all add a distinctive character and personality to the space.

We took a considered approach to lighting and engineering. Expansive window openings draped with sheer, semi-transparent curtains flood the interior with natural daylight, while multi-tiered pendant fixtures and a precise track lighting system provide versatile artificial illumination for the evening hours. The kitchen, subtly partitioned by airy metal-mesh screens framed in wood, remains an integrated part of the gastronomic theater, maintaining full functionality while enhancing the guest experience.

Ultimately, the project brings together local context aesthetics, thoughtful functionality, and eclectic design, resulting in a space equally suited for a leisurely daytime breakfast or an evening gathering. This is more than just a restaurant—it is a distinctive gathering point where every detail is meticulously orchestrated to deliver an unforgettable dining experience within the unique atmosphere of the northern capital.
