Reed residence
The house on the Gulf of Finland is a stylish large building with an area of 2491 m² in a waterfront location. The landscape of this project supports the water theme with a pond and several pools on the premises.
The roof is made of thatch. Due to this, a special drainage system was developed to divert water from the roof. Thatch, as an environmentally friendly material, stands out for its external beauty and identity, allowing for a practical and concise eco-design.
There are two buildings on the premises - the main house and the guest house. The guest house also includes a staff block and a garage. The winter garden in this project becomes a green oasis in the cold period and softens the building's geometry.
The house features spacious panoramic windows that offer breathtaking views of the bay and surrounding nature.
The patio on the way to the water simultaneously invites interaction with nature and serves as a place of quiet seclusion. This project combines traditional elements and modern comfort, ideal for rest and relaxation in nature.
Geometric shapes create a contrast with the environment and natural materials of the project. The integrity of the composition is achieved by making the buildings and open leisure areas a unified ensemble.
